weekwall

Terms of use

Effective from 6 November 2026. Weekwall is free and needs no account. These terms describe what we promise and what we do not.

1. Who does what

The Weekwall service is provided by SC by Schmidt AB, reg.no 556976-8392, Veterinärvägen 9, 237 32 Bjärred, Sweden. You can reach us at hello@weekwall.app.

2. What the service is

Weekwall is a web app for planning the family's dinners, reading the shops' weekly flyers and keeping a shared shopping list. The service is free and provided as it is. We keep developing it, which means features may be added, changed or removed.

3. No account — the household is the key

There is no sign-in. Your household is identified by a random id and an encryption key that exist only on your phones and in the invitation link or QR code. Whoever has the link is in the household.

4. Your content

The recipes, the weekly plan and the shopping list are your content. You are responsible for having the right to use what you put in, for instance a recipe taken from a website or copied from a book. We make no claim to the content, we do not sell it, and we use it for nothing other than showing it in your app and syncing it to the phones in your household.

When you fetch a recipe from an address, the app makes that request for you and picks out the ingredients and the instructions. The material still belongs to its author, and it sits in your app for your own use.

5. Prices and flyers

The price information in the app is read automatically from the shops' own flyers. It can be wrong: a line can be misread, a condition can be missing, and the shop can change its mind. We do not guarantee that any item is correct, and it is the shop's price at the till that counts. Weekwall is not affiliated with Willys, ICA or Coop, and the chains do not stand behind the app.

6. How the service may be used

If someone breaks this, we may block their access.

7. Age

Weekwall is for people aged 13 and over. If you are younger, a parent or guardian should run the app.

8. Availability, changes and shutting down

We promise no particular level of availability. The service may be down for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Should we shut Weekwall down, we will say so in the app at least 30 days in advance, so that you have time to export your data. The export is under More in the app and contains recipes, weeks and lists.

9. Liability

Weekwall is a planning tool, not a guarantee. We are not liable for incorrect prices, missed offers, failed syncing or lost data. This does not limit the liability we have under mandatory law, nor your rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

If the terms change, we will say so in the app. If you keep using Weekwall after the change takes effect, the new terms apply.

11. Disputes

Swedish law applies, without limiting the mandatory consumer protection you have where you live. If we disagree, get in touch first — that usually settles it. As a consumer in Sweden you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (arn.se). If you live in another EU country, you can turn to the European Consumer Centre in your country.
