weekwall

This week's dinners, planned around the deals.

Weekwall reads the weekly flyer from your own shops, suggests dinners from your own recipe book and writes the shopping list. The whole family sees the same list, each on their own phone.

How it works

  1. Pick your shop. Type the name of your town or shop. The app finds the flyer at Willys, ICA or Coop and reads it again every week.
  2. See what matters. What is on offer among the things you were going to buy anyway, which dinners from your recipe book are cheap this week, and the last day each item has to be bought.
  3. Put the dinner on a day. The ingredients land on the shopping list by themselves, with shop and price on the line. The list is shared between the family's phones.

What it costs

Nothing. Weekwall is free and carries no advertising. If anything in the app ever costs money we will say so well in advance in the app — and what is free today stays free.

No account

There is no sign-in, no password and no email address to fill in. Everything you enter stays on your phone. To share the week with each other, the next phone scans a QR code, and what travels between the phones is encrypted — we cannot read it. There is more about this in the privacy policy.

The prices in the app are read automatically from the shops' own flyers. Check in the shop — there may be conditions the flyer does not show, and it is the shop's price at the till that counts.

Who is behind it?

Weekwall is run by SC by Schmidt AB, a small Swedish company in Bjärred outside Lund. The app started as a tool for our own family: we were tired of sitting with the flyers on the kitchen table every Sunday. Questions, ideas, or something that does not work? Write to hello@weekwall.app.
